How Younovators works
From a one-time code to a full career roadmap — explained step by step.
Student receives an access code
Counselors share a unique code (e.g. YN-A7K9-P2X4) with each student via WhatsApp, SMS, or in person. Each code is single-use, valid for 90 days.
Student starts the assessment online
At younovators.com/student/start, the student enters the code, fills basic details (class, gender, category, income, state), and selects Hindi or English. For Class 11/12 students, they also choose their stream.
Guardian consent (DPDP Act 2023 compliant)
Before the assessment begins, the student's parent or guardian name is recorded along with a consent checkbox covering assessment, scholarship matching, and outcome tracking.
Psychometric assessment (20–30 minutes)
The student answers 45–115 questions depending on their class. Questions cover interests (RIASEC), values, aptitudes, personality, grit, and barriers. Auto-save means they can pause and resume.
Deterministic scoring
Once submitted, the platform computes scores using fixed mathematical formulas — no AI invents the scores. Stream fit, career fit, and Opportunity Barrier Score (OBS) are calculated.
Top 3 career matches + eligible scholarships
The engine matches the student's profile against 80+ Indian careers and 56+ verified Central government scholarships. AI narrates the result in friendly Hindi/English — but never invents data.
Counselor dashboard access
The counselor sees the report instantly in their dashboard. They can review with the student/parent, print as PDF, and discuss next steps.
90-day action plan
Every report ends with 3 concrete steps: what to do this week, this month, this quarter — anchored to the student's top career.
